The culminating activity for our unit on Khaled Hosseini's The Kite Runner was making our own kites! Students had to make a kite with an important symbol, character, turning point, and theme from the novel. Additionally, the tail of the kite had to show the main character's path to redemption from the beginning to the end of the novel.
Hello! I am currently teaching Grade 11 English in ON and we are studying the Kite Runner. In searching for some project ideas I came across your site and LOVE this for a final project!
