Amazing projects for The Hunger Games in EN20F!

The students in EN20F did a wonderful job completing projects on the book The Hunger Games! Students were challenged to create an idea for their project completely on their own. Great work!

The Kite Runner Final Project in EN30SLH

The culminating activity for our unit on Khaled Hosseini's The Kite Runner was making our own kites! Students had to make a kite with an important symbol, character, turning point, and theme from the novel. Additionally, the tail of the kite had to show the main character's path to redemption from the beginning to the end of the novel.

EN10F Romeo and Juliet Comics

As part of our unit on Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet  students made comics depicting important scenes from the play. Students were given the opportunity to choose the physical characteristics of the characters as well as the setting. Students were also required to provide a summary of the events of the scene; both demonstrating their comprehension. Great job!
